History
Sikar is Historical city located in Rajasthan state in India. It is famous for its art and culture. Sikar is surrounded by the fortified walls consisting of seven “Pols” (Gates) viz. Bawari Gate, Fatehpuri Gate, Nani Gate, Surajpole Gate, Dujod Gate Old, Dujod Gate New and Chandpole Gate. The primitive name of Sikar was “Beer Bhan Ka Bass”.
Sikar Judgeship was established on 01.07.1977. Court of District Judge is established on 01.07.1977, before that it was a part of Jhunjhunu Judgeship.
